Balor Arts Centre

Founded in 1982 and moved to rehoused in 2008 the Balor Arts Centre has the unique distinction of being both Donegals oldest continuously running theatre and Donegal newest purpose built arts venue.

Operated by the local drama group The Butt Drama Circle, it is a thriving centre for the community. It also operates a very active programme for touring artists hosting over 100 top quality theatre, music and comedy performances per year. It has established a reputation as one of the regions premier music venues with top Irish and international acts such as Bell X1, Josh Ritter, Lisa Hannigan and Damien Dempsey to be found gracing its stage.
