Alexanders of Ballybofey

Alexanders has been in existence since 1960 when the shop was purchased from the McClure family by the late Joe and Bernie Alexander. The shop is currently owned and run by Joe and Tracey Alexander.

Whilst traditionally a supermarket, the shop has evolved over the years, following consumer trends and customer needs.

On street level, we have a convenience store and a full range of hardware suitable for all our DIY customers. Upstairs, we have a gift shop with beautiful local hand made crafts, cards, gifts and an excellent range of fireside accessories, pictures, rugs, kitchen accessories and loads more to boot! We also have recently added a book corner where you will find all the latest best sellers, school books and stationery and a photocopying, printing and binding service. This sits perfectly alongside our newly opened Coffee Loft. The Coffee Loft is open Monday to Saturday and everything is homemade and delicious - soups, scones, tray bakes, cakes and freshly made sandwiches.
