The real showstopper of the region is Fanad Head Lighthouse - this iconic and still operational structure, is one of the Great Lighthouses of Ireland and has been voted as one of the most beautiful in the world. Fanad isn\'t the only "wow" location in the region - think unspoiled sandy beaches at Ballymastocker and Portsalon or some of the quieter coves that are off the beaten track.
